Looking for the best Berserk embroidery designs for your machine? You’re in the right place. Kentaro Miura’s world is one of the rare series that was practically made for the hoop: heavy black linework, extreme contrast, and palettes that rarely go past two or three threads. That means fewer color changes, shorter run times, and designs that read cleanly on dark fabric — where most anime files disappear. Every design in this guide was digitized in-house by a single human designer, stitch-tested, and comes as an instant download in 6 machine formats (DST, EXP, JEF, PES, VP3, XXX) with a free PDF color chart. All five have real customer stitch-outs in their product galleries. Here are the 5 Berserk files we recommend in 2026.
| Design | Best for | Sizes | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Berserk Logo | Caps, chest, sleeves | 3.8–6.8″ | $2.99 |
| Berserk Guts Boxed | Hoodie back centerpiece | 6–9″ | $7.99 |
| Bundle Guts and Griffith | Matching pair (2 files) | 6–8″ each | $9.99 |
| Berserk Boxed | Framed panel look | 5.8–8.8″ | $7.99 |
| Bundle Guts and Griffith Eyes | Small bold placements | 5.7–8.7″ each | $9.99 |
The Brand of Sacrifice — the mark burned into Guts’ neck, and the single most recognisable symbol in the series. This Berserk logo embroidery design stitches it in deep red, in four sizes: 3.8, 4.8, 5.8 and 6.8 inches. That covers the whole small-placement range — cap fronts, left chest, sleeves, the back of a beanie. Being a one-color mark, it’s by far the fastest file on this list to run: a single thread, no color matching, and geometry clean enough to hold its shape at the smallest size. At $2.99 it’s also the cheapest way to find out how our files behave on your machine.

Guts in the rain, in black and white, framed in a box — with the Berserk wordmark stitched underneath. If you only run one Berserk piece, make it this one. The boxed format does a lot of work here: the border gives the design a hard edge, so it sits on a garment like a printed panel rather than floating on the fabric. Four sizes from 6 to 9 inches — the 8 and 9 inch versions are made for hoodie backs and jacket panels, the 6 inch works as an oversized chest piece or a large patch. The monochrome palette means it reads just as well on a grey crewneck as on a black hoodie.

The most ambitious pair in our Berserk collection, and the only designs here that use real color. Both characters are rendered in the pose of Cabanel’s The Fallen Angel — the same over-the-shoulder glare, the same single tear — cropped into a wide banner panel. Guts sits against deep red, Griffith against pale cream, and stitched side by side the reference does the storytelling for you: two men, the same fall, opposite ends of it. You get two separate files, each in 6, 7 and 8 inches, so you can run them on the two front panels of a jacket, on a matching pair of hoodies, or as a diptych in two hoops. At $9.99 for both files, it’s the best value on this list.

Guts at rest with the Dragonslayer beside him, the eclipse behind. Where design number 2 is all motion and rain, this one is stillness — and it’s the piece fans of the Golden Age arc go for. Same boxed treatment, four sizes from 5.8 to 8.8 inches, and the same black and white logic that keeps thread changes low. The circular eclipse gives the composition a focal point that survives being scaled down, which is not true of every large design: at 5.8 inches it still reads as a scene, not a blur.

Our eyes series applied to Berserk, and the closest thing to a signature look in the collection. Two files: Guts’ eyes in black and white above the ベルセルク katakana logo in red, Griffith’s above the same logo in blue. That single accent thread against monochrome linework is exactly why they work — a lot of impact on a dark garment for very little stitching. Three sizes each, 5.7, 6.7 and 8.7 inches. Sleeve placements, chest spots and patches are where these land best.

Most anime embroidery lives or dies on color count. A bright shonen character can need ten to fourteen thread changes, and every change is a stop, a trim and a chance for something to go wrong. Berserk is the opposite: Miura drew in ink, and ink digitizes beautifully. Heavy black masses, white negative space, and a hard outline that survives scaling. Four of the five designs above run on two or three threads.
In practice that means three things. Fewer thread changes, so a large piece runs in one sitting instead of an afternoon. Better behaviour on dark fabric, because a black-and-white design on a black hoodie reads as contrast rather than mud. And a lower density overall, which is what keeps a 9 inch back piece from puckering the garment it’s stitched on. If you have been putting off a large design because of the run time, this is the collection to start with.
These five are just the start — the full Berserk embroidery designs collection holds 56 files, and these neighbouring series share the same ink-heavy look:
Cloud Designs isn’t a marketplace — every file is digitized in-house by one designer in Wilcom, then stitched on a real machine before it goes on the site. The five above were chosen to cover the full range of what a Berserk fan actually needs: one small mark for caps and chests, two large boxed pieces for backs, and two bundles that give you a matching pair for less than the price of two singles. All five have real customer stitch-outs in their product galleries — the photos in this guide are exactly that, thread on fabric, sent in by people who bought the files. Each download includes 6 formats (DST for Tajima, EXP for Melco, JEF for Janome, PES for Brother and Baby Lock, VP3 for Pfaff and Husqvarna, XXX for Singer), multiple sizes and a free PDF color chart — and with our permanent deal, you buy 3 designs and get 1 free, applied automatically at checkout. You can see what our files look like once stitched in the customer gallery, which holds over 1,600 real stitch-outs.
All major home and commercial machines. Every design includes 6 formats — PES (Brother, Baby Lock), JEF (Janome), DST (Tajima), EXP (Melco), VP3 (Pfaff, Husqvarna Viking) and XXX (Singer) — so you just load the file your machine reads.
Yes, and better than most colour designs. The white areas carry the whole image, so the contrast comes from the thread itself rather than from the fabric behind it. If you want more separation, run the outline in a light grey instead of black — the PDF color chart included with each file lists the thread numbers so you can swap one colour without guessing.
For caps and chest placements, stay under 4.5 inches — the Berserk logo at 3.8 inches is made for exactly that. For hoodie backs and jacket panels, 8 to 9 inches is the sweet spot: Guts Boxed goes to 9 inches and Berserk Boxed to 8.8 inches.
You can stitch our fan-made designs on personal projects and handmade items. These are original embroidery interpretations; Berserk and its characters remain the property of their respective owners, so large-scale commercial use of the characters is at your own discretion.
